This blew me away at the Ted conference 2009 — worth watching. Dr. Pattie Maes of MIT Labs is pioneering research in 6th sense technology, that in her words, “is a wearable gestural interface that augments the physical world around us with digital information and lets us use natural hand gestures to interact with that information.”
Of course this 6th sense would be culled from the Internet and its plethora of information, focused sharply into your daily life, as you live it.The video is illustrative of what our world might look like in 20 years and how different it could be from today.
